Memorial Weekend

So our Memorial Weekend camping trip was cancelled due to thunderstorms, but we still went rock climbing and played at the newly opened pool. The girls have so much fun swinging from the harness and looking for snakes (which we did see) and caterpillars. They are loving the pool and are on their way to being great swimmers. This, of course, makes mommy very happy! We are looking froward to a great (and very hot) summer.

I asked Reese to come snuggle with me on the couch. She said, "No, I need to snuggle with Brown Blankie". I asked her what she woud do if I took Brown Blankie away. She thought for a minute, then said, "Be sad and die"! I guess we know that attachment runs deep.
