Oh, what fun Christmas is when you have little ones. And what greater fun it will be NEXT YEAR when our little ones are more interested in all the fun little things that make Christmas magical INSTEAD of the Hello Kitty band-aid on my finger! HaHa. Santa brought Reese a doll stroller (which she still has not stopped pushing around). Presley got all kinds of fun little toys that she loves...especially the ones that play music. Thanks everyone for your contributions to our childrens Christmas. We are so glad all we bought for them was some sidewalk chalk and a set of plastic keys. They received so much from friends and family! So, now it is all over, but we can't take the ginormous tree down until we find a place to store it. (Some very generous friends gave it to us and it is beautiful, but it never occurred to us that it won't fit ANYWHERE in our house). Well,

Failed Santa Trip

We went to see SANTA at the mall, but the line was too long and Reese was ready to get out. (She pretty much reaches out for anyone standing close to her to get out of the stroller). So we will try again another day!

This one went fast

Last year at this time
we shared our big news
Instead of just one kid
We would have two

Presley was born
July twenty nine
The delivery smooth
Mom and Baby were fine

It took a few weeks
For Reese to adjust
Poking and hitting, to her,
were a must

Now the two darlings
Get along just great
What more could we hope for
In 2008?

Brian stays busy
Working and Playing
Riding his bike, rock climbing,
Balaying

Becky starts her day
At 4 in the morn
Pumping those teets
For this purpose, she was born

She still trains her clients
Every day
Then its home with the girls
How they laugh and they play

Reese is simply
Cute as a bug
She can melt your heart
With her smile and a hug

Presley is...
An angel from Heaven
If all kids were like her
I'd have six or seven

We have had a great year
Full of joy beyond measure
It's a time in our lives
We will always treasure

We hope YOU are well

And can look back and smile

Presley and her HUGE grin! I love it!She makes me laugh everytime I see her smile. And those cheeks are FINALLY filling out. The girl is growing and has slept 11 hrs. through the night. I feel like a new woman. I think the Dr. was right about the 12 lb. mark and sleeping through the night...yay!

Happy Halloween!

No, Presley is not a Dragon, Lizard, or a goldfish!!!! She is a snake! Probably the cutest any of you all have ever seen. She got lots of stares when we went to the Mall Halloween night. Reese was Draculette! And a darn cute vampire, if I do say so myself. Thanks Grammy! (For helping me make the costumes).

Here is Presley on her blessing day! What a sweet baby she is...she is getting so cute...she smiles all the time and loves to laugh at Reese. Reese loves her now, too! She will sit there and hover over her and just crack up! She likes to give her big hugs and kisses (which is really a lick on the top of the head, but it counts). We are having so much fun with our girls...I can't wait to have another!!!! Maybe not RIGHT now, but hopefully not too long down the road. Brian would only wish that they came out at 4 months old. He is a good Daddy and loves to play with the babies, hang them upside down, and throw them all around. They will get him back someday, I am sure...but until them, I will get him back for them by squirting breast milk at him...it seems to be my only defense these days. As for Reese, she has learned to say "MAMA" finally, instead of "Bap Bap", and she is trying really hard to talk...in her own language, of course, but it is so fnny to hear the sounds that come out of her mouth. She is getting so funny...the other night she was trying to pull herself on my lap while I was nursing Presley...the only thing she could find to grab hold of and pull up was MY FAT ROLL! Ahh, if that isn't enough motivation for me to start turning it up in the gym, I don't know what is.

Reese had a rough day!

Well, this is the first of many baths today. Poor Reese has not been feeling good...First she had a major pooping accident all over her crib...then she fell down the stairs...and then she was throwing up all night...After calling her Pediatrician, we were advised to take her to the ER in case the vomiting was related to the fall. Apparently vomiting following a bump on the head is not a good thing. Luckily, it turned out to be the stomach bug...but what a coincidence. Poor baby hada rough day, but was hapy to take a bath at the end of it all.

Reese is finally getting used to her baby sister! Judging by this picture...I am not so sure Presley is lovng all the attention!
