Not my Mommy

Presley is mastering poopin' on the potty, but now she doesn't want any help...which can get to be kinda messy...so yesterday I went in the bathroom to help her and she held out her hand and said, "Noooooo! You go away!" I pretended to be hurt, and said, "Presley, that is not a nice way to talk to mommy", to which she replied, "You are Reese's mommy. DADDY is MY mommy". How could I not laugh? She is too funny!

She did it!

We are so happy. Presley finally did it. After 6 months of being pee-pee potty trained...she finally pooped in the potty! What a great day! As soon as she did it she said, "Go get my Snow White music off the fridge now, mom!" With great Pleasure, my dear!

Reesisms

So, I am often writing about all the funny things Presley says, but here are a few "Reesisms"... "Holy moly crap!" is her new favorite. We also just saw "Annie". She runs around the house singing, "To-my-o". Whenever I tell her to be careful, she asks, "Why mom? Because I will fall and bleed and DIE!?!?" (It's really funny when she says it so dramastically). I told my chiropractor that Reese was trying to give me an adjustment when I pulled my back the other day. I was laying on the floor and she went through the shpheel my voodoo dr. does. My Chiropractor asked Reese if she would give HER an adjustment, to which Reese responded, "Hmmm...sorry...I have dance class today!"

Bumper Jumpers!

Myla, Reese and Presley having a ball at Bumper Jumpers! Everyone had a great time on this nasty, rainy day!

Tuesday, March 22, 2011

Kevin, Brian getting the show on the road! Presley making sure everyone had enough chalk!
Myla...she did it! Doesn't she look thrilled?

Reese making her way up.

Presley coming down. Not scared at all! Not bad for a 2 1/2 yr. old.

Jackson was so quick to the top. He did awesome!

Eli making his way up the wall!
Becky (Spiderwoman!)

Reese and Myla watch Jackson climb.

Myla lovin' on Presley.

Reese and Myla having fun...they played in the dirt, with the leaves, sliding down rocks. Oh, to be a kid again when the simplest things were so entertaining.

Climbing Pilot Mtn.

Today was our first family rock climbing adventure. We took the girls and the Calhoun family up to Pilot Mtn. to rock climb. Everyone did great, had a lot of fun, and no one fell off the cliffs. Success! Can't wait to do it again!
