2010 has come and gone,
not much is new,
our house looks like it's been hit by a bomb!
Presley and Reese are now two and three
They are extremely active
and now both use the potty.
Reese is still jumping all over the place
She loves to sing, ride horses, and put lipstick on her face.
She loves her sister, and is so sweet and loving,
only sometimes I catch her pushing and shoving.
Presley, that kid is one in a million.
I wouldn't trade her for dollars, not even a bazillion.
She loves to swim, sing, and go peepee on the potty.
But when she misses her nap, she is quite naughty.
She never stops talking , that little jabberjay,
She laughs and growls most of the day.
Those girls make me smile, they're the joy of my life
My other joy is being a wife.
Brian is great...
Now pushing dents on his own...
The girls get excited when he comes home.
They love to rough house with thier dad,
and when he leaves, they are so sad.
They ask me all day, "Where daddy go?"
He's either riding his bike, at church, or trabajando.
We hope this season you feel the love
Of our Father in Heaven and Saviour above.

Reese so proud to be potty-trained. She always says, "I luv-ah da poo-poo".
Presley still working on it, but "squezin' it out".
So much for plans to cut down our own Christmas tree. We just went to someones house that sell them and stuck it in the car...so the girls didn't even get to get out. Here are the "Christmas tree Pictures".
Reese is super excited, as you can tell.
Riding the carousel after seeing "Ho-Ho" (aka, Santa Clause). I couldn't believe Reese and Presley actually sat on his lap. When he asked what they wanted, Resse said "blue lips (lipstick) and a horsie. Presley asked for a pink baby doll and a stroller (as if we don't already have 10 of those). It was cute. Too bad they wouldn't let us take a picture.

My poor baby!
My baby has had her first visit to the ED. She hit her head on the corner of the table when she fell off the computer chair. It split her forehead open and they "glued" her back together. It was so sad. She has pink "highlights" in her hair...from the blood. The cut is really not so bad, but my goodness, heads bleed a lot. She is a trooper though, and was back up in no time. Today she and Reese were playing and she was trying to get Reese's attention. Reese didn't answer her, so finally Presley yells, "Weese Morgynne!" Too cute! Reese is funny, too. I love it when she tells me at bedtime, "Mommy, don't come back!". I think what she really means is, "Don't leave", but the "don't come back" makes me giggle.

Scawwweeee Witch!
We had a great weekend. It was absolutely beautiful weather for October, so we spent the entire weekend outdoors. Saturday we went with a group of friends to the Lazy Five Ranch. The girls loved the horse drawn wagon and feeding all the animals. Presley loved the baby piggies. She would giggle everytime she saw one. I will have to say, it was hard not to grab one and stick it in my purse to take home and keep as a pet. So cute. Presley also liked petting the sheep. She said, "Oooh! Soft, like Polka Dot Blankie". Reese was in love with feeding the baby goats. They also had a hay bale maze and a corn pit. The girls loved jumping off the hay into the corn. They brought a ton of it home in their britches, too. Gives a whole new meaning to the word "corn hole". Hahaha. Halloween was fun, too. The girls were so tired from the ranch that we didn't make it to the church trunk-or-treat party. However, we did go around the neighborhood and trick-or-treat to the neighbors. Thanks, neighbors, who gave our kids fruit, yogurt, bubbles, books, and socks in lieu of candy. We really appreciate your thoughfulness...Then we headed over to Ardmore to see the haunted houses. Funny how they weren't afraid of the scary witch, zombies, skeletons, spiders, and freaky clowns, but Presley was terrified of someone dressed as a duck. Go figure!

An elevator story
I have started teaching spanish at the Old Salem Montessori preschool. Reese and Presley get to come and participate, too. It ws a crazy day and somehow Presley got mixed in the shuffle with the kids going down to the carpool line and Reese ran into the doorjam and was crying...I forgot to turn off the lights in the classroom, and when I got into the lobby area a teacher asked if the little blond girl was mine. I quickly scan the area and do not see Presley anywhere. I begin to panic then I hear the screaming, "Mom-eeeeeee"!!!!!!!!!! Presley had gotten in the elevator and was on her way down by herself as I struggled to run down the stairs carrying Reese and all my stuff before presley got there. Luckily a nice lady got her out. She was crying so hard...when I finally calmed her down, she said, "mommy...I ride da' elevat-oh by se-elf. I Like it!" It was funny.

More cuteness!
Reese and Presley are going to be witches for Halloween. Whenever we watch "Enchanted" Reese always tells me "Pwesley scared of the witch". However, it is Reese who always turns and faces the back of the couch when the witch comes on. Presley has a book with a witch in it, and she always brings it to me and asks, "Mommy, whe-yer da' witch?" (She totally has a southern accent sometimes). Got the hats at the Dollar Spot @ Target.
If you haven't heard about the "Skinny Girl" recipes, you are missing out on a completely healthy (as healthy as chocolate muffins can be) recipe. Here are the girls helping me make "Chocolate Salad", as Reese calls it.
Get a load of that smile. Also, a funny thing Presley did...(2, actually)...we bought Reese new panties...so Presley wears them, too. ALL at the same time. I changed her diaper one day and she had 8 pairs of panties over them. She loves them and she can't decide which one she wants to wear, so I guess she decides all of them. She is also almost potty trained. Good with number 1 and number 2 is going well so far. The other night, she pooped in the potty. She makes us hold up her shirt in the front so she can see it come out, then she likes to talk to it before she flushes it. As she was flushing, she says, "Bye-bye banana". ( I cracked up, because it actually did look like one...a nice curvy one.) Anyhow...That's our little Presley. Silly Willy.

Presley is obsessed with baby dolls and babies...baby ANYTHING! I have to cut up all her food in "baby bites". She is such a funny little momma.
And Reese LOVES her animals!
This is their hang out spot when we are on the computer. They like to sit there and color.A few weeks ago, Reese had a really high fever for about a week. She was unconsolable. One day, after she got up from her nap, she refused to be held ...wouldn't eat or drink...she went behind the couch to pout...this is how I found her a few minutes later.

Oh, that Presley says the darndest things!
We were having dinner outside the other day and Presley started singing "Head, shoulders, knees, and toes". I decided to use it as a teacing opportunity and began pointing to different parts of the body, asking, "What's that?" They were answeringeverything correctly. Then I got to my face...when I pointed to my eyebrow and asked,"What's that?" Presley's face lit up with a huge smile and said, "CATERPILLAR"! Classic.

rubber snakes?
Ever since Reese gave up the paci, naptime is a challenge. I try to encourage "quiet time" which usually leads to her falling asleep on the couch. Her she is being awoken by her Presley.
The first thing Presley says when she wakes up is "Wheres Weese?"
Lovin' the sunglasses!
Friday afternoon I was picking up toys in the kitchen when I reached down to grab a rubber snake that was on the floor. Only when I was about to grab it did I realize that WE DON'T HAVE A RUBBER SNAKE!!!!! The little booger slithered under the fridge and I sat on the kitchen table waiting until Brian got home to wrangle it. It took Brian 2 hrs to lure him out. I wasn't sure what kind of snake it was...and it freaked me out a little. Sorry momma for the time when I was 17 and I put a garden snake in a box on the kitchen floor to scare you. I guess what goes around DOES eventually come around! Here are some cute pics of the girls. We are so bummed the pool has officially closed. But they sure look cute in their sunglasses!

Presley Bleu-Yellow
The girls had their 2 yr an 3 yr check up the other day. They are doing great. Both very healthy and on track. While there, Reese heard me say I was checking in Reese and Presley "wilkinson". She repeated our last name andit dawned on me that I have never told them their last name. Later we were practicing saying their full names. I said, "Presley Bleu Wilkinson"...to which she responded, "Pweseey Boo- Yellow!". It was cute.

"Reese and Presley-isms"
So, I am loving the ages the girls are at. Yes, they are a handful, but they are also soooo funny. The things they say crack me up. Reese is so expressive when she tells her stories. She uses her hands to describe everything. She still tells me every day that "Mom!, Pwesley is scared of the choo-choo train". And every time she sees a plane, "Ohh, Sadie fwew away. To Missippi." She misses her best buddy so much. Daddy also "flies away", by the way. "Where daddy? She fwew away? To church?". I love how she comforts Presley when she is sad. She will rub her back and say, "oh, poor baby." And Presley, what a crack up that one is. The other day, she and Reese were fighting over something. I see Presley pinching Reese and I say, "Presley! No Pinching". She looks at me with her big innocent eyes and says, "But, she push "The Presley"." It was sooo funny. She always refers to herself in the third person. She is still a fashion diva. Yesterday she found a bag of winter clothes, and she kept bringing me articles of clothing to put on her. This is what she wore for her nap. A long sleeved shirt, covered by a wool sweater, covered by another wool button-up cardigan. Then she had her diaper, covered by Dora panties, covered by her bathing suit bottoms, covered by a skirt turned inside out. To top it off, she wore her striped socks. She refused to let me take anything off until it was time to go swimming later that afternoon. Such silly-willys. They are growing up so fast. Reese learned to ride her trike. She just started riding it down the street last saturday. Now we can't get her off of it. Presley is climbing all over the jungle gym at the park and is doing so well potty training. Pictures coming soon.

Reese turns 3!
Our baby is growing up so fast. She is officially 3 yrs. old! We had a great day! We went to her happy place, "Bounce U". She loves going down the slide. Daddy loves it too. Reese went down, Brian followed. When he got to the bottom, the air he pushed down popped Reese up in the air and she did a back flip right into his arms. It was hysterical. That night we went to "Build-a-Bear". They each got an animal and Reese put her "paci" inside the bunny. Bye-Bye paci. No nap today. She kept asking for that dang thing. I am sure she will get over it soon. We should have taken that thing away a long time ago. I think we made up for it today when she got to ride a horse. She can't stop talking about it. Happy Birthday to Sweet Reese!

Party Time!
"Zip it! Zip it!" She screamed over and over again.
Bye-bye sandcastle cake
Blowing out their candles
Reese kept saying, "I want Happy Birthday, peese! Peeeeeeeeesseeee!" when she saw the cake.
We had a combined b-day party for the girls. We invited a few friends over to swim and eat cake. It was a lot of fun. Reese is swimming well now...she won't do it in front of anyone so you will have to just take my word fo it. She will only tread water if in the spotlight. Presley is fearless in the water and will jump in without any warning. The girls are doing great and I can't believe I have 2 "toddlers" They are so grown up. Reese is now potty-trained...it took her just doing it on her own terms. As soon as I quit bugging her about it, she went. It just "clicked" this week. (Of course, it could also be her newfound love of "chocolate" that did the trick). Presley pees on the potty, and on the floor and wherever she feels like it...Here are some pics of her squeezing herself in a 3 month outfit. Someone returned a bag of baby clothes they had borrowed and Presley found them. Many of you know about her obsession with babies. She was insistent about fitting into the itty-bitty sizes. I know how frustrating that can be, Presley. Brian and I are doing well. He is doing great with his own business and new stake Young Men calling. I am just doing whatever...We had a great trip to California. Had sooooo much fun at cousins week. This time the theme was "work hard" and "Never give up". "Things turn out the best for people who make the best out of the way things turn out"...my new matra. We spent a week at Carpinteria State Beach. The weather was awesome, the girls had a great time playing in the sand and in the freezing water. I had fun bodysurfing and kayaking and playing with all the kids. Everytime I get back from there I spend a month racking my brain on how I could possibly move there. I miss my fam, that's for sure.
